Mom's Apple Crisp
This apple crisp recipe is a family favorite! The crisp topping and apples cooked perfectly in the middle make a perfect dessert.

- 8-10 medium granny smith apples cored, peeled, and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup softened butter
- Cinnamon
- Salt
Preheat oven to 350.
In a greased 8x8 pan, layer the apples, sprinkling cinnamon on each layer as you go.
Layer the apples until they create a dome shape above the pan.
Sprinkle the top layer with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Mix together the flour, sugar, and butter. Then cover the top of the apples, leaving no holes or cracks.
Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve! (Preferably with ice cream)
