P.F. Chang’s Copycat Lettuce Wraps

- 1 lb ground chicken
- ⅓ cup hoisin sauce
- 1 small white onion diced
- ½ cup carrots diced; optional for extra crunch
- 1 8 oz can water chestnuts drained and diced
- 4-6 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1 tablespoon garlic chili sauce optional
- 3 green onions sliced
- Head of romaine or butter lettuce
In a pan on medium heat, cook the ground chicken until browned, breaking up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Mix in the hoisin, onion, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger, and garlic chili paste. Stir occasionally until the onions become translucent.
Stir in the green onions and water chestnuts for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Scoop the chicken mixture into the leaves of lettuce.
