Pickled Onions
These pickled onions are tangy, crisp, and incredibly easy to make!

- 1 red onion quartered, very thinly sliced
- 1 cup hot water
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
Mix the water, vinegar, sugar and salt until the sugar and salt dissolve.
Place the onions in an airtight container and pour vinegar mixture on top.
Cover and let this mixture sit out for an hour. Then, store in the refrigerator.
