They transform regular onions into a tangy and delicious topping for sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salad, bowl, you name it!     • Red onion
    • Apple cider vinegar
    • Sugar
    • Salt

    These quick and easy pickled onions are ready in an hour! Let them pickle for at least an hour, then use them or store them in the refrigerator.

    These pickled onions are tangy, crisp, and incredibly easy to make!

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 red onion quartered, very thinly sliced
    • 1 cup hot water
    • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1 ½ teaspoon salt

    Instructions
     

    • Mix the water, vinegar, sugar and salt until the sugar and salt dissolve.
    • Place the onions in an airtight container and pour vinegar mixture on top.
    • Cover and let this mixture sit out for an hour. Then, store in the refrigerator.
