- 8 oz pizza dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ⅓ cup ricotta
- 2-4 garlic cloves minced
- ½ teaspoon pepper more to taste
- ¼ teaspoon salt more to taste
- Red pepper flakes optional, to taste
- ½ cup spinach packed
- 2 oz mozzarella sliced or shredded
- ½ cup jarred or canned artichoke hearts quartered
- ½ oz shredded parmesan ~¼ cup
- Optional: spicy honey for topping
Let pizza dough sit out at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 475 F (if the dough recipe or store bought dough you use has different directions on heat, use that)
Stretch and roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to desired thickness. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet or pizza pan.
Brush 2 teaspoon olive oil over the top of the dough.
In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, garlic, salt, pepper, and (optional) red pepper flakes (to taste). Spread ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving space on the edges for a pizza crust.
Mix the spinach and remaining olive oil (1 tsp) together. Then, spread spinach evenly over the ricotta.
Spread mozzarella evenly over the spinach, then evenly distribute artichoke hearts.
Sprinkle parmesan over the pizza.
Place pizza in the oven until crust is golden brown (8-10 minutes, can vary depending on crust used).
Remove from oven, and (optional) drizzle with spicy honey. Cut and enjoy!
