    Mom’s Apple Crisp

    I’m not kidding when I say this recipe is famous in my family. My mom has made this every Thanksgiving since I can remember, and it’s everyone’s favorite. The crisp topping is just right for the perfectly cooked apples in the center, and it’s only 6 ingredients! She let me share it on here for all of you, so enjoy, and don’t forget to leave a review!

    What ingredients do I need to make this recipe?

    • Granny Smith Apples (cored, peeled, and sliced)
    • Granulated Sugar
    • All-purpose flour
    • Butter
    • Cinnamon
    • Salt

    How do I make this?

    1) Preheat oven to 350.
    2) In a greased 8x8 pan, layer the apples, sprinkling cinnamon on each layer as you go.

    3) Layer the apples until they create a dome shape above the pan.

    4) Sprinkle the top layer with cinnamon and a pinch of salt
    5) Mix together the flour, sugar, and butter. Then cover the top of the apples, leaving no holes or cracks


    6) Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes

    • ⅓ cup softened butter

    • Layer the apples until they create a dome shape above the pan.
    • Sprinkle the top layer with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
    • Mix together the flour, sugar, and butter. Then cover the top of the apples, leaving no holes or cracks.
    • Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes.
    • Remove from oven and serve! (Preferably with ice cream)
