    Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies

    These healthy oatmeal breakfast cookies are such a great thing to have on hand when you’re in a rush. Grab them when you’re on the go and know you’re getting a healthy and filling breakfast or snack.

    Ingredients:

    Old-fashioned oats
    Unsweetened applesauce
    Dried cranberries
    Nut butter of choice
    Honey or maple syrup
    Vanilla
    Salt
    Cinnamon

    Directions

    put all ingredients in a bowl

    Place all ingredients in a large bowl.

    mix together ingredients to make dough

    Mix together all ingredients until evenly distributed.

    scoop dough onto baking sheet

    Scoop dough using a ¼ cup measuring cup onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Press down (cookies won't spread in oven).

    bake cookies until golden brown

    Bake until edged are golden brown. Remove breakfast cookies from oven and let cool.

    • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
    • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
    • 1 cup dried cranberries
    • ½ cup nut butter of choice
    • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 350.
    • Mix all ingredients together until evenly distributed.
    • Scoop cookie dough onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet using a ¼ cup.
    • Flatten into cookie shape (cookies will not spread in oven).
    • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
    • Remove from oven, let cook, and enjoy!
