    Baked Chai Donuts

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

I mean, the title really says it all. These donuts are packed with chai spices and the flavor really comes through! These donuts melt in your mouth and are the perfect fall treat. After all, donuts and chai lattes are separately fall staples, so why not bring them together for one amazing dessert?!

What ingredients do I need to make this recipe?

    • Flour
    • Brown sugar
    • Granulated sugar
    • Milk
    • Plain greek yogurt (full fat)
    • Chai spice mix (homemade or store bought)
    • Butter
    • Egg
    • Baking powder
    • Baking soda
    • Salt
    • Vanilla

    What is chai?

Chai is a mix of multiple different spices (Click here to see exactly what’s in it). It originated in India and it’s a perfect balance of different spices!

Do I need any special equipment to make this?

Having a donut tin makes it a lot easier, but there are some online hacks you can find to get around this. One involved forming a donut tin with a muffin tin and tin foil.

Do I have to use your chai spice recipe?

Nope, if you have your own or find a blend at the store you like, go ahead and use that! But mine’s probably better 😉
