    Cilantro Chimichurri

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This sauce can be used on meats, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, vegetables, really anything you want! It’s packed with flavor and only a few ingredients, so make a batch and keep it in the refrigerator to add a little spice to any meal!

What ingredients do I need to make this recipe?

    • Cilantro
    • Parsley
    • Garlic
    • Olive oil
    • White wine vinegar
    • Limes
    • Jalapeño

    What is chimichurri?

Chimichurri is common in Argentinian and Uruguayan cuisine, and is typically made with parsley, red wine vinegar, garlic, olive oil, and oregano. The classic is great, but I love this version even more with the kick from the jalapeño, zest of the lime, and flavor packed cilantro.

What should I use this on?

When I make this sauce I pretty much put it on everything until I run out, but I love it on sandwiches, bowls, meats, fish, vegetables, and wraps. It’s also great to use as a dip with sweet potato fries, or as an addition to hummus to add some extra flavor!
