Making your own salad dressing may seem like a difficult task, but it's totally worth it and this cilantro lime vinaigrette is anything but difficult! Simply blend up all the ingredients for a fresh and delicious salad dressing!

Ingredients
- Cilantro

Instructions
- Step 1: Place all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor.
- Step 2: Blend while slowly pouring in olive oil until smooth.
Hint: Try the dressing before removing from food processor, you may want to blend in more honey or salt depending on your taste preference.
Substitutions
- Vegan - use maple syrup or agave instead of honey for a vegan salad dressing
Variations
- Non-spicy - leave out the jalapeño if you're spice averse, or if you want less spice remove the seeds from the jalapeño before blending
- Creamy - blend in your desired amount of plain greek yogurt or avocado if you prefer a creamy dressing
Equipment
- Food processor - if you don't have one, use a blender and just make sure to blend until smooth (this will take longer if using a blender instead of a food processor)
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Top tip
Taste the finished cilantro lime vinaigrette before removing from your food processor to make sure the dressing is just to your liking. You may want to add more salt, honey, jalapeño, etc depending on your preferences!
