Tid Bits (aka Homemade Snack Mix)

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

A classic snack mix that is so addicting! This is my grandma’s recipe, and we grew up calling these “Tid Bits.” So here is the official Grandma Birdie Tid Bit recipe!

Finished product of homemade snack mix

This recipe is such a fun and delicious snack! Make your own snack mix and skip the Chex Mix! I love making these for game days because they are such a crowd pleaser.

Make these along side rosemary garlic roasted crispy chickpeas and healthier buffalo chicken dip for a perfect snack trifecta!

    Ingredients

    Wheat Chex
    Corn Chex
    Rice Chex
    Mini pretzels
    Peanuts (shelled)
    Butter
    Worcestershire
    Seasoning salt
    Beau Monde seasoning

    Instructions

Mix together the Chex, pretzels and peanuts. Melt the butter in a small pot and whisk in Worcestershire, seasoned salt, and Beau Monde seasoning. Toss butter mixture with Chex mixture to coat.
Bake at 200F for about 1.5 hours. Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!

    Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week!
