    Instructions

    Chicken Wings

    • Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray.
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels (it's important to do this very well!) and sprinkle with salt. Place in a single layer on the wire rack.
    • Turn wings every 15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Depending on the size of the wings, this can take up to an hour.
    • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
    • Toss with miso sauce until coated. Garnish and enjoy!

    Miso Sauce

    • While the wings are baking, mix together the miso, soy sauce, mirin, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a medium bowl until combined.
    • On the stove on medium heat, heat the miso sauce until slightly reduced (this means it will be less watery). Remove from heat and let sit at least 5 minutes before tossing with wings.

My son made these for the big DAWGs game (Geaux Dawgs!) and these were the talk of the town.

Literally it got on the local news that my son was a master of wings with this recipe.

      What a hit!
