Make this delicious gingerbread latte made with all the classic gingerbread spices: ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.
Of course, this recipe is mostly made during the holiday season. Gingerbread is everywhere November and December, so why not add those delicious flavors to your morning coffee?
This was inspired by my Chai Latte on this site, both are lattes filled with warm spices but the flavors are so different!
Ingredients
- Milk of choice
- Espresso
- Gingerbread simple syrup (store bought or homemade)
- Optional for topping: crumbled gingerbread cookies
See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions

Substitutions

How to froth milk
If you don't have a milk frother, there are a few ways to froth milk:
- Mason jar method: Warm milk to 140-155F and pour into mason jar. Shake vigorously.
- Whisking method: Warm milk to 140-155F in a saucepan. Whisk vigorously until frothed.

Top tip
If you're using a milk alternative (oat milk, almond milk, etc), I recommend looking up the brand you plan on using to make sure it froths well. For example, Silk Oat Milk doesn't froth well but Oatly Oat Milk does!
